- Eligibility: Open to employees or retirees of a school or school district who are at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia. Void in Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, West Virginia, Wyoming, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, and U.S. Territories and Possessions. Entrants are not eligible if they won a Horace Mann prize in the past 12 months.
